Lorem Ipsum Generator
Need realistic filler text for a mockup? Generate clean lorem ipsum in exactly the amount you need and copy it in one click.
What is the Lorem Ipsum Generator?
Since the 1960s, designers have filled unfinished layouts with lorem ipsum — scrambled Latin-like text that looks like real copy without saying anything readable. The point is focus: when a client reviews a mockup filled with lorem ipsum, they judge the layout, typography and spacing instead of getting stuck editing draft wording. Real words distract; placeholder text keeps eyes on the design.
The MuftTools Lorem Ipsum Generator produces the classic passage — starting with the traditional “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…” opening — in whatever quantity you need: paragraphs for page mockups, sentences for cards and banners, words for headlines, or list items for menus. Choose a unit, set the count, and copy clean plain text with one click. It is instant, free forever, and needs no account.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly is lorem ipsum?
It is placeholder text used in design since the 1960s — Latin-like words scrambled so they look like real copy. It lets designers present layouts before the final wording exists.
Why not just use real text in mockups?
Real words pull reviewers into editing the copy instead of judging the design. Lorem ipsum keeps attention on layout, fonts and spacing where it belongs.
Can I use the generated text in commercial projects?
Yes. Lorem ipsum is traditional filler text with no ownership claims — use it freely in any mockup, template or client project.
Does it cost anything or need an account?
Nothing at all. The generator is free, unlimited, and works without any sign-up.
